DIRECTIONS

1) From Paris, Dijon, Lyon, Grenoble, Gap, Barcelonnette

2) From Basel, Geneva, Annecy, Chambery, Grenoble, Gap, Barcelonnette

3) From Luxembourg, Metz, Nancy, Dijon, Lyon, Grenoble, Gap, Barcelonnette

As far as Grenoble the route is relatively straightforward. Once you get to Grenoble, follow the signs for the south ring road (ROCADE SUD). Once you get on to the south ring road follow the signs for Briancon, Bourg d’oisans, Sisteron, Gap.
Turn off the ring road at junction 8 (N 85) and follow the signs for Gap, Briancon, Vizille and Stations de l’oisans. Follow this road for approximately 17 km. This will take you to Vizille. Just before you get to Vizille turn right and follow the signs for Gap, Laffrey, La Mure, (route napoleon / N85)
From here the road heads into the mountains.
Follow the signs until you get to Gap and from there follow the signs for Barcelonnette. (You will need to pay attention in Gap because the signs for Barcelonnette are not always clearly indicated.)
4) From Marseilles, Aix en Provence, Sisteron, Gap, Barcelonnette
Approximately 2 km before you get to Barcelonnette you will see the St Pons airfield on your left and an aircraft on the left-hand side of the road. Approximately 400 to 500 metres past the aircraft take the first turning left and follow the signs for St Pons (the turning is immediately after the Los Ninos playground). Ur guesthouse is the last house on the left-hand side of this road just before the T-junction. (There is a stone pillar with a white letter box at the end of the drive.)
